comfortable handling infections and bacteremias. Standardized our dialysis
unit protocols, helped initiate a CKD clinic and follow our dialysis patients
with inpatient care. Designed and customized our practice's patient
education booklets including a "welcome to dialysis" book.
Working to establish shared medical appointment clinic appointment for our CKD
patients and a specialty CKD clinic for out frail elderly patients for an active
disease mgmt program to give them another option instead of dialysis.
