Nurse Practitioner/Roanoke, VA - Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner needed for an exciting, new, part time (10 hours a week) clinical opportunity at an employee wellness clinic in the Vinton area, near Roanoke, Virginia. This new innovative position will afford you a break from the typical high pressure hospital or physician office setting. You will have the chance to practice autonomously, delivering clinical, education, and advisory services to several patients per hour. You will care for employees where they work affording you open access to your patients thus enabling you to see the positive, incremental changes that your clinical efforts create. To excel in this new role one needs to possess these four attributes: The ability to comfortably function and practice independently in a solo clinical setting. Possess excellent teaching and communication skills. The ability to perform phlebotomy required to diagnosis and treat clinical clients. Retain a current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license and authority to prescribe in the State of Virginia.
