Nurse Practitioner/Parker, AZ - Progressive rural hospital in western Arizona has an immediate opening for a Family Nurse Practitioner, full time, to work 3 days in Rural Health Clinics in Bouse and Quartzsite, AZ and 2 days in Urgent Care in Parker, AZ. FNP should be comfortable treating patients independently. Experience in internal medicine and geriatrics is also helpful since there is a large retirement population. Must be nationally certified and have Arizona license. As a desert community, retirees flock here for easy living, and our winter influx is phenomenal. Location is in the low desert, so it is quite warm in the summer and they experience mild wonderful winters. The Colorado River provides endless recreational opportunities, including boating, fishing, and jet skiing, etc. While tourism is a heavy part of the traffic in the summer, it is really the winter "snowbirds" that make area successful as a tourist haven.
