Very busy surgical practice in southern Oregon, with top notch/cutting edge surgeons has an opportunity for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. Specialties include General and Vascular Surgery (+bariatric). With a new facility in 2005, this is an excellent place to practice and learn. PA or NP will assist 5 surgeons in the OR. This person will spend 85% of their time in the OR and the remainder doing hospital rounds, ER consults, in office post op visits and small procedures. This is a VERY busy and fast paced practice and it is continuously growing. Surgical experience and a current Oregon license are pluses. Location is in the beautiful Rogue Valley of southern Oregon. The climate is similar to that of Northern California without the rain of northern Oregon. There is little to no snow fall on the valley floor, but Mt. Ashland is 20 minutes away for winter time sports. It is a great area for outdoor activities year round. The city is small and safe, but large enough to have most amenities of a big city. Base pay $80-100K based on experience + approximately $15 in call pay. Benefits include Health, Life, Flex, Profit Sharing, Vacation, CME and Relocation.
