Medical Center in rural South Carolina has an immediate needs for a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide primary care in a hospital clinic. There are two openings, both in rural health clinics. One position is in a busy practice with three physicians and the other is in a satellite clinic with one physician. Mid-level providers will also assist in hospital rounds. Hospital has state-of-the-art technology with all major medical specialties represented and 130 beds. Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner must have excellent interpersonal skills necessary to work well with patients and their families and to collaborate with health team members. Must be capable of comprehensive history and physical examination, diagnostic assessment, patient counseling and treatment. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Location is in a historic community of 5000 just 30 minutes from Florence, SC. Must be nationally certified and licensed or eligible for licensure in South Carolina. Salary $70-85K with benefits.
