An eastern North Carolina fully accredited JCAHO hospital and 861-bed tertiary referral center, providing acute, intermediate, rehabilitation, and outpatient health services, is in need of Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners in multiple positions. Located in beautiful eastern North Carolina, this city has become the dominant economic, educational, and cultural hub of the region. This diverse, growing community of over 70,000 is home to this regional medical center and the third largest university in North Carolina. Despite its size, this city is still known for Southern hospitality, offering opportunities to enjoy water sports, golf, the arts, and the distinct regional cuisine. The trauma NP or PA will work in a state of the art Level I Trauma Center. This practitioner will work collaboratively with the physician to facilitate patient care for the trauma population across the continuum of their hospitalization. Work schedule is 8-10 hour days with rotating weekends and follow up clinic opportunities on a rotating weekly basis. Minimum of 5 years of Trauma experience required.
