An eastern North Carolina fully accredited JCAHO hospital and 861-bed tertiary referral center, providing acute, intermediate, rehabilitation, and outpatient health services, is in need of Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners in multiple positions. Located in beautiful eastern North Carolina, this city has become the dominant economic, educational, and cultural hub of the region. This diverse, growing community of over 70,000 is home to this regional medical center and the third largest university in North Carolina. Despite its size, this city is still known for Southern hospitality, offering opportunities to enjoy water sports, golf, the arts, and the distinct regional cuisine. Orthopedics position requires 5 or more years of inpatient experience. Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will be part of 3 person NP/PA team. Works with the postoperative orthopedic patients and manages their hospital course until ready for discharge. Schedule will be Monday-Friday with rotating every third weekend.
