Intervention-based pain management practice in western Washington State has immediate opening for a Nurse Practitioner. The position involves evaluation of patients suffering from persistent spinal pain, nerve injury /pain, headaches or joint pain. The NP will obtain and evaluate medical histories, perform physical examinations, perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedure (as authorized), and order laboratory studies, radiographs, and other special examinations. NP will counsel patients on medical problems, use of medications, expected effects of treatment, and other therapeutic health maintenance matters. Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Washington. Must be able to multi-task and be proficient with computers. Friendly and patient oriented. Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM, No weekends or call. Excellent salary, based on experience and benefits including health, dental and CME. Community of over 80,000 is between Tacoma and Seattle bordering Puget Sound.
