Atlanta's prominent hospital for heart patients has an immediate opportunity for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. As a member of the heart failure and transplant team, the PA or NP is responsible for the evaluation, assessment, education, and follow-up care of adults, primarily ages 18-65 or geriatric patients over 65. Assures the delivery of quality health care services. Complies with hospital and department policies and procedures. Will perform medical treatment and diagnostic procedures as delegated by supervising physician. A minimum of two years of cardiology experience required. Ability to work closely with physician, and as a team member while assuming a leadership role. Salary $70-80K plus benefits.
