A team-oriented Physician Assistant needed to join Tacoma, WA multidisciplinary, outpatient rehabilitation practice. The practice medical director is Board Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R). Experience in PM&R, occupational medicine, psychiatry and/or primary care would all be relevant and applicable. Practice treats a wide range of acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain problems, and have a CARF-accredited chronic pain management program. Multidisciplinary staff includes physicians, psychologists, rehabilitation counselors, and case management. Location is in the beautiful Pacific Northwest just south of Seattle, within a couple hours of the Pacific Ocean, Mount Rainier, Olympic Rainforest and Mount St. Helens. The physician assistant position will have a critical, complementary role serving primarily as attending physician for patients with work injuries and complex rehabilitation problems.
