Immediate opportunity for an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner in suburban Tampa, Florida area cardiology practice. Solo physician is well-established, having been in practice for seven years. Practice is growing and very busy. The ARNP would work directly with the Cardiologist in making hospital rounds and seeing office patients. Experience in internal medicine or cardiology is preferred, but will train a Nurse Practitioner interested in cardiology. This is a modern office with a very pleasant, non-stressful, work atmosphere. Hours are Mon-Fri 9AM-5PM. When doing occasional Saturday morning rounds, would have Friday afternoon before off. The semi-rural community, just 35 miles from downtown Tampa, offers the vistas of hills and gentle breezes off the Gulf of Mexico from its vantage point northeast of Tampa in the southeast corner of Pasco County. Close to major cities yet distant from the hustle and bustle, the city is known for its pastoral cattle ranches, colorful citrus groves, and productive poultry farms as well as its community events, shopping opportunities and recreational activities. Salary $75-$90K or negotiable based on experience. Benefits include health insurance, malpractice, CME and other professional fees. Paid time off for CME holidays and vacation.
