Physician Assistant in General Surgery is needed for Connecticut hospital-based position. Beautiful coastal city is home to important historic landmarks, acres of public parks, and many museums. Working with the supervision of attending surgeons, the PA will perform a variety of duties in the assessment, work-up, and treatment of patients, providing quality patient care. Physician Assistant will serve as a patient liaison between patient and physician when necessary. The PA also functions as a first assistant to the surgeon in the operating room. Must be a graduate of an AAPA-accredited Physician Assistant program. Prior surgical experience is recommended, but not required. Must be Licensed pr eligible in Connecticut. Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants required. Salary Range $70,000 - $115,000, plus excellent benefits.
