Psychiatric hospital in Vermont has position available for Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner. Duties to include: Performs admission intake assessments, physical exams, diagnosis and treatment of medical problems within scope of practice, collaborating with physicians for admission of patients to the inpatient units. Consults and manages medical problems for inpatient and residential clients. Provides education and consultation for disease prevention and management for patients and employees as appropriate. Provides physical evaluation, triage and/or treatment, health counseling/education for employees following employee health guidelines. Requirements: Must be a graduate of University based Nurse Practitioner Program (NLN approved). Have National Certification as Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner. Current Vermont License as Advanced Practice Nurse with Prescriptive privileges. Current DEA License. 5. Masters of Science in Nursing Salary $40 +/hr.
