A Level II Trauma Center, located in northern California is seeking a Cardiac Physician Assistant. Cardiovascular Surgical Physician Assistant functions as a provider and coordinator of direct patient care and as a first assistant to the supervising surgeon. A family-friendly college town offering affordable housing, and exceptional outdoor recreational opportunities. Central location is a close drive to San Francisco, Lake Tahoe and the Sacramento Valley. Medical Center has embarked on a $130 million project to expand, modernize, equip and furnish facilities through the construction of a new five-story patient tower and a single-story surgery center and emergency center, doubling the capacity. Salary Range: $110-125K (may be able to go higher for someone with extensive experience). Relocation: Up to $8,000 depending on distance. Continuing Education: One week (5 days) of paid Continuing Medical Education (CME) including travel and accommodations.
