Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner/Yuma, AZ - Very busy cardiology practice, specializing in interventional and peripheral vascular procedures, pacemaker/AICD implantation seeks a well-grounded, experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. This position offers autonomy with 24-hour cardiologist support. Typical duties include admitting patients with cardiology complaints from ER, performing consults and management on hospitalized patients. Two or more years experience in cardiology required. Must have knowledge of management of Acute Coronary Syndrome, Interventional/Invasive cardiology and Pacemaker AICD implantation. Must be comfortable with high degree of autonomy while collaborating with supervising physician and maintaining a team environment. Salary of 100K plus based on experience. Excellent benefits package included. Bilingual in Spanish a plus, but not necessary. Location is a popular retirement area on the Arizona and California border.
